If you are a visa requirede national , then you need a visa to go to UK from Rebublic of Ireland. BUT

UK is not really strict I go to UK every year nobody checks my visa at heathrow airport. But when I go back to Dublin, they check it if a have an Irish entry visa.

other people go by bus but its up to you to gamble.

UK visa will take 2 days to issue

You can apply for an EEA family permit from the british embassy. It can be used for going back and forth to the UK. It costs nothing to obtain, but you will have to submit your passport, the passport of your wife, and your marriage certificate.

Knapps unfortunately you need to visit Great British Embassy again as they like to give people troubles. so you need to spare one day for them..
Good luck..

pentru innoirea pasportului

Post by lisatu » Thu Jan 14, 2010 11:54 pm

Eu mi-am facut in asa fel cheltuid pe procura (Power of attorney) 30 euro si departamentul afacerilor externe 20 euro + posta imi pare ca vreo 10 euro. Bafta.
