Congrats Sweeti....

I received an email from AD today and they said

Thank you for your email. I can confirm that we have processed your application in Abu Dhabi and you should hear from the VAC regarding the collection of your decision shortly.

So considering that sweeti has received her application today, I and Zghani10 would hear about our applications soon Insha Allah

Dear Forum mates,

I will really appreciate if somebody can help me to confirm about dependent maintinance requirement.

My wife applied on 1st December 2009 for PSW Dependent visa and I am in the UK from 2006. I have maintained the £533 balance as i understood from the UK visa website and advised by my Uni advisor but now i have read on this forum that maintinance should be £800+533. I am very worried and stressed. I will be thankful if anybody reply who had maintained the £533 balance and got PSW dependent visa.

Thanks in advance.

first u need to have 3 month bank statement which should have atleast 800+533=£1333 and balance should not go under.
and when u apply ur statement shouldnt be more then 1 month old.
a job reference letter from ur employer.
3 month pay slips.
sponsor letter from u and a cover letter from ur husdand.
tenancy agreement along with a letter from landlord that he is happy to give permisson for to add another person in flat and house is big enough for a couple.
ur marraige certificate translated in english and attested.
marraige pics.
mobile bills to show that u had reguler contact with ur husband.
photocopy of ur passport.
photocopy of ur id card.
ur husband have to have TB test.
These all things i put for my wife application n now waiting.
hope this will help u
1. Can you tell me who is a valid person for attestation from pakistan (Magistrate or Foreign Ministry).
2. Wat about the sponsor letter, is it just a letter saying that u r going to apply for u partner visa or wat else u write in the letter.
3. Do we also need to get the sponsor letter attested from UK or not.

Thnx

Maintenance Fund

Post by Gaza2010 » Mon Feb 15, 2010 2:51 pm

Hi Friends,

I understand a lot of people are confused about maintenance fund for dependents.

I wasn’t sure either that whether it should be £533 only or £533+£800.
Anyway I had maintained £533 in bank account for three consecutive months and applied for my wife visa on 1st December 2009. All that time I was restless as I read quite few posts on forum stressing to maintain £533+£800 and leaving me panicking on my case.

However today my wife collected her passport back and got PSW dependent visa, so I am writing this post to relieve those people how are in same situation or struggling to decide what amount they should maintain.

Hope this will help.

Regards,

My wife had applied from Mirpur Pakistan and time scale was about 2 and half months including Christmas holidays and weekends.

The documents we have submitted were pretty much standard as mentioned a number of times in this and other threads.
Certified translated copy of marriage certificate.
Tenancy Report plus housing survey report and letter from landlord confirming he/she has no objection moving a new person to their property.
3 Months bank statements maintaining £533.
Salary Slips and a letter from employer confirming my job title and annual salary.
My passport and visa page attested copies.
TB screening report.
Sponsorship letter.
And some optional stuff, our regular communication proof plus marriage photos.

Another PSW delayed application

Post by av123 » Thu Sep 09, 2010 9:32 pm

Hi Guys,

I have been following this thread for a while

I applied for my PSW on 26/05/2010

and till date(09/09/10) have not heard back since then. All I am told is that my application is under routine enquiry.

Is there anything I can do to fasten the process?it has now been almost 103 days(14 weeks)

thanks..
