ILR requirements

Hi Friends,

I am now in 2+ 3 years running , will have to make application next year Nov. I know its bit early to ask, but just wanted to know what are the requirements to get an ILR? Is there a point system for that too and I need to plan my finances from now on as I am on contract role. Please advice.
