Biometric Information for Tier 2 Extension

I'm a little confused on the new biometric requirement that has been issued for Tier 2 applications after Jan 6.

I will be sending off my Tier 2 extension application soon and have some questions about the Biometrics.

Do I send in the application first and then they will send a letter saying I need biometrics or do I need to do the biometrics first?

What's the correct order?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

It says here that the postal applications are sent off and a letter is then sent to the applicant stating they need the biometrics.

Is this correct?

U will just send your application now and then the HO will send you a letter for biometric appointment.
