(HSMP)-Tier 1 Extension And Traffic Offence

Post by oc2pus » Mon Jan 18, 2010 1:02 am

Hi Guys,

Need some Help

I have recently applied my HSMP Extension on Tire 1 general visa.

I had a traffic offence (my traffic offence was driving without "L" Plate, I pleaded guilty and court gave me £60 fine and three points on licence in Jan-07). Then I applied my HSMP and got my HSMP in JAN-08 (did not mention this traffic offence in my application at that time (as I thought, its not a crime) but I got my HSMP.

However, now, when I applied my HSMP (Tier 1) Extension, I mentioned that offence in my application.

My only concern was that I did not mention this offence when I got my HSMP in 2008. Would this affect on my Extension application as I mentioned this offence in my application this time?

I would really appreciate your kind advice and moral help. Thank you.

Kind Regards

No It wont!! I did not declare my convictions in initial HSMP but did declare at the time of extn last year... and the visa was approved.

Actually from September 2008 they are taking criminal conviction very seriously... but all is fine as long as you declare it.
