Dear Experts and others,

Please Help me no the followings...

~ Holding PSW going to Apply for Tier 1 General (Skilled Worker)
~ Working for my Present Employer for last 7 moths with salary £20,000 Per Year.

~ Contract is for 35 Hours Per Week.

Closely related Job according to COS is under Section J - information and communication > Code 5245 > Title > Computer Engineer.

Question: According to COS for this role Min Hourly rate should be £9.97.
There are no more description rather than this.

As my salary and hours stated above …..
£20000 per year / 52week = £384 Per Week / 35 hrs Per Week = £10.97 Per Hour.

Will it be successful if I apply for tier 2 General with this salary range together with above mention COS code & title.

Thanks a lot in advance ….

ash786 thanx for your reply. Thants mean I can go ahead with this COS code. Do you have any idea why its just shows hourly rate rather than yearly income.

1. The per hour rates and salaries are suggested by Migration Advisory Committee and they are the ppl who suggests which job is slary and which is per hour.
