Thanks to you all guys for helping me out with the Visa application. I have now successfully secured my Tier 1 - PSW visa. Here are my timelines

Application Sent: 18-Dec-09
Acknoledgement recieved: 24-Dec-09
Acknowledgement date: 22-Dec-09
Visa revieved: 20-Jan-2010

Good man, in a very similar situation myself and expecting a big parcel any day now.

you guys are pumping my hopes ... i applied on the 22nd of December ack dated 24th :) .... so if you applied on the 18th n I applied on the 22nd i reckon mine should be in the post somewhere early next week :) i didnt send a special delivery return envelope so i dont know when it'd come but i have my fingers crossed as i really wanna go n visit family ... i just hope all stays well and congrats to all of you who got their visas :)

Congratulations to those who received positive responses. And all the bets to those (including myself) who are looking forward to get one.

I applied 10th Dec and Ack received on 12th. Payments has been through on 11th Dec. And surprising news is that I am still waiting to get my passport.
