ILR- HSMP JR

Post by dgat » Wed Jan 20, 2010 5:39 pm

Hi,

I have a question on the date of qualification for settlement under HSMP JR.

I had applied to HSMP and received an acknowledgement letter of the application on 30th March 2006( just 4 days earlier than HSMP cutoff date- 3rd April 2006) , and I had received the HSMP approval letter on 26 April 2006.

Does anyone know if Home Office keeps the exact dates when the HSMP application was received?

I would not qualify for ILR under HSMP-JR, if Home Office considers the approval date.

I think they go by the date of the application, not the approval - as long as that application was successful, which yours was - so you are in luck ;)
