Hi,
I will be very thankful if you could provide me with your precious advise regarding my situation.
I came to uk on student visa but now I am on Tier 1 Post study work visa. Currently I am loking for job and dont know when I will get one. I currently have £5000 in my bank account for the last 3 months. Also I have got a letter stating that my accomdation is suitable for couple. However my problem is that i dont have a job.
If I apply for my wife's dependent visa on PSW is it necessary to have a job?
Please advise. Help will be much apperiacted.
Thanks

1. No you do not hav to have a job to sponsor u wife and its not a requirement but it helps but u visa can not be rejected cuz u do not hav a job.
2. As long as u have the required amount u will be fine.

Thanks mate for your prompt reply. So should the fields in the appliaction form relating to the job be left empty? My other option is that i am currently a residental tutor in the halls. I have a contract for it, although i dont get paid for it other than free accomadation. Should i put that as my job?

Job is not required, all you need is the maintenance fund as applicable
