I sent my application on Dec 17th and it was delivered on dec 21st.

Reference No received through email on Dec 30th.Checked with the bank and got to know that the credit card was charged on dec 23rd.

Let's hope for the best.
One good thing is that even in holiday season, the progress so far is fairly fast.

I am an out-of-country applicant.

nizamm,Your concern is understandable but pls be a little more patient .

you application has reached on 28th so till now only 3 working days have passed...normally it takes 5-6 working days to get the reference No so you should be getting it in the next 2-3 days.

The credit card gets charged before you get reference no so may be you can check with your bank..

cheers!

Home Office will not disclose anything over phone or email about the decision. They are very formal and will let you know everything on writing.
If you are lucky you should get your documents and letter of decision in 7 days from the date of dispatch/decision. I got approval in 7 days and documents also in 7 Days

Dear Modertor,

Need Help

OUT OF COUNTRY APPLICANT Over 28

On Sunday 25 December i had sent my Application by Fedex to

Credit Card Charged on December 30th 2005

Claiming for 65 Points.

1. Education - 15 Points
2. Exp - 50 Points.

Desicion Taken on 10 Jan 2005. It was Refusal.

They Gave me

1. Education - 15 Points
2. Exp - 25 points.

I have more then 11 years Exp in IT with 7 Years Aboard.
I had called the CaseWorker, he had told me he did not count for Specialist Exp over 5 years. he had Mentioned me that overall my expreince is in Network Managmnet and it is gradulate level.

I had submitted following Specialist Certificates claming my Experince Letter in some companies clear State Network/Security SP

1. Cisco Firewall Sp.
2. Check Point Security Admin
3. Comptia Security +
4. CCNP, CCNA
5. MCSE.
6. CIW Security Analyst.
7. CCIE Written.

He did not count these supporting documents, he is stuck saying Network Managment is not Specialist Level.

Can Any one help me how to file Review.

Ohh :( I am very sorry to hear about your refusal. You got 40 points from your education and experience. What about your past earnings? Is there a way to show your past earnings? You have 1 month to apply for a review, maybe you can send some additional documents to HSMP team and want them to check again. Is it possible?

After four diiferent email to caswworker, explaining my specialist role, at the end, the casworker send me email with following words.

Unfortunately the decision had been made on this particular application and he wil forward my email to HSMP review team for urgent Consideration.

What this means guy, the case was satified with my comments in my email.

I have to again start from first with the new caseworker.

My first post in this forum.

IN COUNTRY APPLICANT. (Work-permit Holder), IT field.
UNDER 28 APPLICATION

Posted the application: 29th December
Post Delivered at front desk : 30th December

Claming points: 90
Age: 5
Experience: 35
Salary: 35
Education: 15

As you might be aware, the only criteria where the hsmp team has a upper hand is the experience ( where they can or can not consider something as graduate). I am claming for 4 yrs experience(35pts); even if they consider 2 yrs of them as graduate, i will get 15 points and still be successful. However, if they give zero, then i am doomed.

From the other posts, it appears that I might get a decision during the next week.

Still waiting for a decision( I am using an agent ).
Fingures crossed.

Good luck to all.

Jackpot and Kaps,

Has anyone of you heard anything from the homeoffice yet? I think all of us including (Nizamm) have applied around the same date. Nizamm already got a decision on the 10th of Jan.

Most likely some of us should hear from the HO this week. Please post any updates.

Thanks.

Very nice to hear that you have received the reference number. I heard from an agent that the HO issues the ref number just when they are about to take the decision on that case.

My guess is, you will hear from them soon with a decision. Good luck.

Nizamm, sorry to hear about the refusal. Whats interesting to note is the speed at which your case is being processed ( both the initial application and the review ).

Good luck with your second review.
