Dear all .
I got the following reply from the hsmp team after my follow-up email:
Due to the large number of applications we are currently receiving,
there is
a delay in the consideration of some applications. We apologise for
any
delay and inconvenience this may cause. We are currently unable to give
you
the exact date your application will be completed. However, the
majority of
applications are currently taking a minimum of 12 weeks.
The latest information regarding delays to the processing of Highly
Skilled
Migrant Programme applications is available from our website at:
www.workingintheUK.gov.uk > schemes and programmes > Highly Skilled
Migrant
Programme.
I must point out however, that 12 weeks is only a guideline, the
process is
as shown:
1. Firstly, an application is checked and then logged into the system.
2. The file then enters a waiting list (currently 12 weeks)
3. Once a file reaches the front of the queue it is allocated to a
caseworker.
4. Your application is then considered, and it is during this time
that you
may be contacted for further information.
5. Then a decision is made, and your original documents (apart from
any
passport) are returned to you.
6. We then pass your case to our 'In Country' team, who consider your
case
from a security perspective.
7. An official decision is then made, and sent out with your passport
(if
we have it).
Please realise that points 4-7 take a variable amount of time, and thus
I
cannot give you a definite time for your application at this stage.
I can say that since we only have an address for you in Pakistan, you
will
not get a reply by 01/06, simply because the Pakistani postal service
can
take several weeks to deliver our letters.
Since you want to speed up the process, you may want to consider naming
a
representative in the UK, since we can correspond with them within a
week.
This should be a Registered solicitor or an agency, and we will require
a
signed form from you naming them as your representitive.
We are currently dealing with applications received by the end of
February,
and so your review will be passed to a caseworker in around 2 weeks,
but
after that, any delay will be down to how long it takes to consider
your
case.
Here, can any one update me regarding my some query:
1) when the case alloted to case worker how much time consumed by an application?
2) Is the application outside UK forward to In-country team?
3) Is my representative in UK can be my friend or relative?
4) If my friend or realtive can be my representative how i authorized him to deal with HSMP team.
thanks all
