Post by Vamiq.khan » Wed Jan 20, 2010 11:29 am

Dear All,

I applied on 10th of Dec. Fees has been deducted on very next day that was 11th Dec. I still looking forward to get a response from HO. It is 20th of Jan 2010. And 40 days been passed away. Does any body in the same situation as I am. If yes, kindly come and share your experiences of
any delays.

very very common when there is a huge backlog of applications or when there are vacations.. obviously the home office personnel weren't working during the christmas break.. can you please stop freaking out!! It is just a matter of logical thinking..

1. Can i just say that there is no need to use words like "STOP FREAKING OUT".
2. Everybody gets worried so we just need to help each other.

1. The problem is that HO will be dealing with a huge backlog of the applications over teh XMAS time.
2. So dont worry too much as u said that fees have been deducted so u application will be under consideration.

Ash . I was offended when I saw words such as Freaking out and logical thinking. I had a conversation (PM) with petter bond. He is nice bloke and he has passed these words in a friendly and in a very casual way. All he meant to say calm down dude.

No doubt it is fact that we are here to clear each other's confusion and bring out reality to the front.

I read a post which says that applicant has lodge application on 24th Dec, 2 weeks later I did. And he received his passport with a positive response on 20th Jan.

If there is a back log. Than it should exist for all applicants as Home office considers applications on First in First out basis.

Regards
Vamiq
