Need information regarding FMRS

Post by anavinraj » Tue Jan 26, 2010 10:04 pm

Hi,
Im an indian national and my girl friend is Lithuanian citizen,
Currently my girl friend is living in uk and working , soon she gonna apply for WRS.
We are planning to get married this year before july.
Can anybody help me on the following questions.

1: Where we should marry ( India Or UK ) which will be easier for us for immigration purpose.
If i marry in india so what kind of visa i should apply after getting married to her for moving back to UK.

2: After marriage we want to live and work in UK , and i read about FMRS , so am i eligible to apply for FMRS even before she completes 12months of WRS.

plzzz help me as soon as possible , cause we have to arrange aloads of things.

you need to provide more info such as where did you meet, how long you have known each other, how old you both are.Accomodation for both of you in UK
Basically you should marry in India and apply for spousal visa

Do you have documentary proof of the timeline of your relationship?
Do you have letters photos etc?
Does she earn enough for you to get a spousal visa?
Does she have evidence of flat rental?

And when she came to india so we clicked pics of us , and her parents know me , my parents know her .
I mean our whole family knows each other , also my friends and her friends know about us.

I know this forum isn't about making judgements but I know tons of people that met their partners online and when they finally did meet eachother there was no chemistry so they broke up. I think it's very very important to like atleast hang out for a teeny bit to see if you're even remotely attracted to eachother.

edit to add: It sounds like you guys never met so I'm using "online" as an example, not to say that you two did meet online (although I'm tired so i can't think of any other way right now).

To get a visa you need proof .
You must show letters , photos etc as requested by the HKBA.
If you do not have documentary proof over a long period of time the ECO is likely to refuse you

We have proofs like letters and pics of both of and as i said that she came to india to meet me and we spend over 20 days together and we are talkin to each other over internet for past more than 3 years.
and we also have plans that she come to india and we marry here itself than to apply for further visa. And as i said we also have witnesses like she is living with my friends who used to study with me in same college.

AND THIS TO EVERYBODY THAT IM NOT MARRYIG HER FOR CONVINENCE OR SOMETHING
WE TRULY MADLY DEEPLY LOVE EACH OTHER BROTHER SO PLZ IF CANT HELP SO DONT MAKE FUN OF OUR LOVE PLZZZ

I apologize, I was wrong about you both never meeting. Based on what you said you have enough proof to satisfy the genuine relationship bit of the application.

Edit to add: provided that you have no children the minimum amount required for maintenance is £100.95/week after rent and council tax+any debt repayments.

Love at first sight is bullshit. A lot of people fell in love with Ted Bundy at first sight, then he butchered them.
