Will my application be successful? - Urgent...!!!

Post by hsmp_aspi » Wed Jan 27, 2010 4:23 am

Hi friends,

I plan to apply for HSMP in Feb. However, I have a doubt regarding the earnings. As per the rules, we are allowed to show our earnings for the past 12 months out of a block of 15 months. So does that mean that if I apply in Feb, I can show a period of 12 months out of the past 15 months i.e from Nov 08 to Jan 10? My salary period is monthly.

Would it be correct on my part to apply in Feb and show the earnings till Jan 10 as my last payslip relates to Jan 10?

Also, would it be OK if I show the earnings only from Nov 08 to Oct 09 (12 months) in the month of Feb 10?

Awaiting your replies on the same.

Thanks in advance.

You can only show 12consecutive months in the last 15months.. so in ur case can only show from Nov 08-Oct 09 the max... or any other sets later date.. like Dec 08-Nov 09 etc..

Hi Ramesh sir,

Thxs for the info. Also, can you confirm whether applying in Feb would be the correct option? It is actually the 16 th month but I would not have recieved the payslip for Feb as my pay cycle is monthly. My last payslip relates to Jan 10.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Just as another way of asking this question, if I select the earning period from Nov 08 to Oct 09, will I be able to apply in the month of Feb 10? Is there any rule which specifies the dates of application?

Thxs for the guidance.

You should count backward. So if you are apply in February 2010 then you can claim any consecutive 12 months between Nov 2008-Jan2010(total 15 months.). It could be Nov 2008-Oct2009 or Dec 2008-Nov2009 or Jan2009-Dec2009 or Feb2009-Jan2010. I think i have covered all possible combination for you.

If your last payslips was on Jan10(and you received that amount in your bank) than you can claim Feb2009-Jan2010.

Employees who receive a salary

A salaried employee could provide a combination of personal bank statements covering the full 12-month earnings period and either:

* payslips for the full 12-month earnings period; or
* a letter from your employer.
