Thankyou for your kind words Sabah.

I am glad your husband has finally got his visa and is able to join you,and I hope you will make a fresh and clean start, and hope that you enjoy and stay happy in the future.

Inwarsaw for your reference I am 52 years old and a grandfather of 3 kids, so I do not get offended if some of the young members of the forum call me "Uncle" or "bazurugh( = "wise old man".)

As for Sabah, she and I go back sometimes. I would consider her to be a truly courageous young woman in view of the problems she has gone through.

If there is one person I have helped on this forum that I am now really happy for that everything has worked out is Sabah

Thats too kind of you BatleyKhan. I will be actually offended rather pissed off if someone would call me uncle or buzarg because that would make me sound old :)

Anyway apologies to you and Sabah for posting irrelevant comments.

And being old is negative?
I think it is a great time of life, you have achieved so much , you have so much experience to share with others.
Kids have flown the coop, mortgage is paid.
It is like a fine wine fully matured great tasting

I didn't mean being old is negative. Everyone gets old one day and you are right in what you said about 'achievements'.

What I meant was when one gets too old and weak to be dependant on others for example for eating, changing clothes, walking etc. I wouldn't want to live till that age !

You must really get cheesed off a lot then when your own nephew and nieces call you an uncle everytime. :D

When you get older and wiser you learn to put up with certain words..... hopefully you will do the same when you ge to my age
