My doc set has :

1. cover letter
2. forms - vaf and appendix with foto.
3. age - 20 points
(original passport)
4. education - masters - on PBS - 35 points
(degree certificate)
5. UK Exp - NIL
6. earnings - 27K+ GBP - 25 Points (bank statements showing net salary, pay slips signed n stamped for 12 months from jan09 - dec 09 ..applying in feb now
7. English - ielts score - above 6 - 10 points
8. Funds - above 2800 pounds from past 3 months - 10 points
One set of statements for funds and earnings both.
Fee will be in cash for it.

Are xerox copies required ?

Please let me know if i missed something .

You haven't mentioned where you are applying from.

Include your birth certificate though I think passport might be sufficient. Hope your bank statements covers the period you are showing as evidence for earnings and not just the last 3 months which you are using for maintenance funds evidence.

Take photocopies of your original docs and retain for yourself for safety.

Applying from India.. and statements are a ONE set for both 12 months period of earnings and then continuing to the 3 months for funds

Check these things again;

1. Use the latest Application Form

2. Make sure the photos are less than 1month

3. Bankstatements/Payslips Original if not sign/stamped

4. Provide proper employer/bank contact names n phones

5. Sign the application

Please do not misguide people ... specially when you yourself are uncertain if the information you are offering is right or wrong! It's just been 2 days since you posted the following:

Any experts or anyone who has got the HSMP visa, pls guide me on how to get started with the application. What are the necessary documents i need to have.

Appreciate your effort to help others ... but first you yourself need to understand the nuts and bolts of the system before you start offering suggestions / opinions.!

Section 3.1 - Asking for Duration of study, Please help me how to put the start date & end date of study period, Nomally we do have month & year (educational year like May - June, etc) Do we really need to give the dates.

Section 4.6 - Table for fill in the Previous earnings claimed. How is it possible to fill in the table's first column asking for Source of
Earnings (include details of employer; Name of Business etc and start and end dates for this source of earning) how to include all the requested details within the small cell - Need help

5.4 Spouse/Partner’s place and country of birth
5.5 Spouse/Partner’s nationality

I hope i do need to fill in only these applications with proofs.
