Tier 1 dependant visa for Kid

Post by kumarjalluri » Thu Feb 04, 2010 11:36 am

Hi Guys,

May be it is a repetitive question.. But I want to make sure all my doubts to be cleared. Please suggest me.

I am planning to apply for TIER1 dependant visa for my kid. Myself and my wife had already got the visa. Now I am in UK and my family is in India.

I am maintaing the funds in different banks (2 Indian accounts and UK account).

I have few doubts. Could you please clarify...

1) I believe my wife should submit the covering letter on behalf of my kid. So please send me any such covering letter.

3) I am maintaing the funds as below.

INR 130000 in my wife's Indian account (1600 GBP)

INR 183000 in my Indian account (2280 GBP)

GBP 3000 in my UK account

Could you please let me know how to explain all these details in the covering letter.

4) Do we need to take thumb impression of my kid at any place in the VAF10

5) For applying visa my wife planning to go to VFS hyderabad. Does she need to take the kid to the VFS office.

5) Is there any filled model VAF 10 form for dependant kid

Please give your suggestion on the above questions. Thanks in advance.

Kumar

get this right first

INR 130000 in my wife's Indian account (1600 GBP)

INR 183000 in my Indian account (2280 GBP)

- Parents can sign on behalf of kids

5) For applying visa my wife planning to go to VFS hyderabad. Does she need to take the kid to the VFS office.

- Maybe for biometric - confirm with others again

5) Is there any filled model VAF 10 form for dependant kid

- It should be straight forward Q's give it a try first n get back with queries..

Thanks Ramesh.

Already I saw these covering letters. But I want to know when applying for kid alone, is there any specific format/wording that looks good.

I have been staying here from past 3months. So as you said the funds required are 4000 GBP. My question is since I am maintaing the funds in multiple accounts, I want to put proper wording to let the home office clear about the funds maintenance.
