Very Urgent Query - Applying Day After Tomorrow..please Help

Post by balaji_sqa » Mon Feb 08, 2010 12:44 pm

Hi All,

I claiming my perivious earnings from Feb 2009 to Jan 2010 (consequtive 12 months)

But my salry for the month of Feb 2010 credtied on 5/Mar 2009
Jan 2010 salary credited on 5/Feb /2010
so i'm giving bank statement from 01/Mar/2009 to 8/Feb/2010
My query is Earning Period Feb 2009 to Jan 2010 & Bank Stmt Mar 2009 to Feb 2010... is it ok ? Because 8/Feb/2010 falls out of my claiming period that is Jan 2010

Any body can clarify this point, In India we will get the Salay of any month in next month only...

Regards
Balaji R

Balaji.. i think you are confused with the Earnings and the maintenance funds...

1. For earnings you can claim any 12consecutive months in the last 15months period.. So, 01/02/2009 and the end date is 31/01/2010 is NOT Wrong you can use that as it falls in 15months period.. You need to take the ONADA rates as per the last date of your earnings period that is 31st Jan 2010..

2. And for maintenance funds you need to show the bankstatement with minimum funds for the 3months.. and for this you will use conversion rate as the date of application..

dont get confused between these 2 things..

Ask if you have any doubts..

Hi Balaji,

According to me its not a problem as long as you have the required salary deposited in your account for past 1 year (12 months). I would suggest that you clearly highlight your salary deposit 'row' in your statement with markers. You can event mention Month-Year with pen in the statement beside the entry on 5th (or whatever date your salary is deposited).

Make sure that the office gets to see easily what he wants to see :) and he does not have to search hard for what we are tryign to show.

Also you can use yellow post-it's on each of your document Captioning it. And write a small note if you want to say anything (or clarify something) extra about the document. That's perfectly ok.

Dear Ramesh & Sanjay,

It's clear now,

I can apply 1 Feb 2009 to 31 Jan 2010 as my claiming period and
Can give Jan 2009 to Dec 2009 salary slips as evidence
Bank Statement from 01/Feb/2009 to 31/Jan/2010 as evidence

As said by Sanjay shall i highlight the rows in Bank statement, is it acceptable ?

As said by You, where i have to mention the conversion rate for maintenance funds, i'm applying for only myself and having aroud 4,00,000 in my bank A/C, and i'm submitting the bank statement as proof for last 3 months, I believe the appraiser will calculate the quivalent pound by himself, or do i need to mention this some where.... please advice.
please advice

Balaji you are still not clear..

If your Earnings Points claim period is 1 Feb 2009 to 31 Jan 2010 in that case you have to submit the payslips for the work done for this period that is you have to submit Payslip of Feb 2009, Mar2009-Apr09-may09.... Jan2010 payslip... and same is the bankstatement..

Bankstatement showing these salary credited in the bank.. it can be Feb 2009 salary is credited in March so u can show the Feb-March 09 bankstatement...

Please kindly read HO GUIDANCE and dont apply till you are clear about these basics.. dont waste you visa fee and time..

Claim Period: 1 Feb 2009 to 31 Jan 2010
Payslips for the months worked above Feb 09 - Jan 10
Bankstatements showing the salary credits in bank it can be Feb-March 09 - Jan-Feb 2010 bankstatements...

I had done exactly the same thing when I applied. I got my Visa.

In your file (or bunch of documents tied together) put a printout mentioning the conversion rate you had done your calculation.
You can also mention the 'Summary' of your statement on this printout.

For example: You can write:
Enclosed is a salary bank account statement from [dd-mm-yyyy] to [dd-mm-yyyy] showing 12 salaries.

I have maintained a amount of [XXXXX.XX] in my account for past [XX] months .....

2. Jan 2009 to Dec 2010 salary slips

Else

1. Bank Statement from 01 Mar 2009 to 08 Feb 2010 (as of today)
2. Feb 2009 to Jan 2010 Salay Slips

PLease don't mistake me, i'm really confused, please guide me, sorry to troubling you...

Earning Period is the period which you worked and the salary you get for that period you will claim OK

you mentioned
So if i'm claiming Feb 09 to Jan 2010 then i have 2 options as follows

a. Bank Statement from 01 Feb 2009 to 31 Jan 2010
b. Jan 2009 to Dec 2010 salary slips
1. That means if you are claiming for the work you did from 1st Feb 2009 - 31st Jan 2010...

2. You will show the Payslips of these months Feb09 - Jan'10 - OK

3. for which you get your salary deposited in ur bank in March 2009 till Feb 2010..

4. You will show the Bankstatements which shows the salary credited for the months in 1. (1st Feb 09 - 31st Jan 10)

5. since your salary is credited in the next month for work done from 1st - 28th Feb 09 is deposited in March 09...

6. You will show the Bankstatements covering the salary deposits of Feb 09 - Jan 10..

So, if you say..

1. My claim period is 1st Feb 2009- 31st Jan 2010
2. Show Payslips of Feb 2009 - Jan 2010
3. Show bankstatements covering the salaries credited for the Months in 1 (Feb 09 - Jan 10)..

hope this is clear...

Dear Ramesh,

Thanks a lot for your patience and the way you explained it...

As per your suggestion

i'll Attach the Bank statement From 1 March 2009 to Till Date (8 Feb 2010) which is covering the salary deposits of Feb 09 - Jan 10..

And highlight the rows in the bank statement.

One more query : Even Though my Jan 2010 salary credited on 4 Feb 2009, i'll take the conversion Rate as on 31 Jan 2010, am i right, please confirm...

Thanks & Regards

Dear Ramesh,

I have got appointment on 12/Feb/2010 that is coming Friday 9:30 AM, here in chennai. My query is

1. I got my bank statements on 8th Feb 2010 (yesterday ) so the day's difference is 4 days... is it ok ? or i have get all the statements by 11/Feb/2010 again from my bank.

2. I'm applying for only myself and not for my dependents, but i mentioned Yes for they are joining me later and metioned their details.
In the section 7 i mentioned as follows "As of now I am applying for my self only and am not applying for my dependents. However I am planning to apply for them after 8 months.Hence I am not maintaining any funds for my dependents at present.I am maintaining the amount only for myself in my bank account. Hence i'm not able to give my dependents travel dates"
under this circumstances do i need to submit my marriage certificate as a proof, please advice...

3. For maintenance funds i'm submitting proof as last 3 months bank statement printed on Bank stationary with Logo, the same has been stamped and signed by bank people - So do i need to give any additional letter from bank to prove the maintenence fund ?

PLease advice me...

Thanks & Regards

- They are fine as they will cover your earnings period from Feb 09-Jan 10 salaries.. and also cover the maintenance funds period for the last 3months

-I will remove the sentence in red above

3. For maintenance funds i'm submitting proof as last 3 months bank statement printed on Bank stationary with Logo, the same has been stamped and signed by bank people - So do i need to give any additional letter from bank to prove the maintenence fund ?

- Are they not the ORIGINAL bankstatements? yeah if they have been printed in the bank on their letter head with logo and shows all your details, like name, account no. statement dates etc.. with sign and stamp they are good to go..
just get the details of the bank manager and branch and fill the same in the application so that if BHC wants to contact they can do so to confirm..

PLease advice me...
