Unfair decision of ECO ? how to speed up process ?

Hello all
We are expecting our first baby in 6 weeks time ! My mother who is a Pakistani National applied for a family visit visa to visit us on this joyous occasion as this is her first grand child also. That visa has been refused on the grounds which are irrelevant and incorrect. The refusal letter clearly shows that how “thoroughlyâ€

IMHO,

1. This is not a case where exceptional or compassionate circumstances can be claimed.
2. Assuming you were required to prove availability of 10K pounds (don't know why?), then such funds need to be shown in cash accounts and credit card limits cannot be included.
3. It is very important to provide documentary evidence to prove strong ties of the applicant to his/her country so that the ECO is assured that the applicant will return from the UK. E.g.- proof of financial investments, savings, property, employment, income, pension etc.
