After almost 6 months, finally get approved!

Post by chercher » Thu Sep 15, 2005 7:38 am

1. Date submitted: 30 Mar 2005
2. Citizenship: Chinese
3. Points total: 80
4. Urgent case submitted: 26 Aug 2005
5. Case approved: 13 Sep 2005

Opinions:
1. end Mar is not a very good time for application, for 5 months, UK home office did nothing for my case!
2. If I don't submit urgent case request, I don't think UK home office will ever allocate a caseworker for my case!
3. It seems that the UK home office took 2 weeks to just find my application from piles of applications, and once it allocated a case worker, my case got approved within a day!
4. Out-of-country application takes really long and is really painful, so, if possible, do it in-country.

HSMP approved!

Post by Markie » Wed Sep 21, 2005 3:30 am

This forum has been very useful for my 2nd application and learned a lot from the posts from fellow members. I've initially sent my initial application 1st qtr last year but I had a refusal.

Here's my time line:

Docs sent to HSMP team: 12-August-2005
Docs received by HSMP team: 15-August-2005
Fees Debited from my Mastercard: 16-August-2005
Approval letter/orig docs sent via Royal mail: 07-Sep-2005

Am now working on my EC (as I am from the Philippines)

HSMP earnings proof

Post by medic » Thu Jan 05, 2006 2:08 pm

Hi all.I recently was asked to re apply for initail approval even though i made the points total, because I did not provide enough evidence of earnings.I sent letters from employers and pay advice slips.some of the slips did not have employer details on them,so I guess I messed up there.I am getting as much as I can employers but is there any advice to what I could send them to prove earnings beyond a shadow of a doubt.I am sending bank statements with all credits to my account from all employers.

Please help.

I got word from my agent that may application has been provisonally approved! They unfortunately misplaced my original qualification certificates and only have the notarised copies that I sent with. I have sent them duplicates of the originals today and then the caseworker will sign the final approval.

Happy days. Hope to go for EC in next two weeks if I receive approval letter in time.

Good luck to all

It doesn't mean it's been rejected. My friend's application was received on the 7th of March, letter of acceptance was dated 9th of March! Received documents back on 3rd of April. Extremely fast acceptance at HO!!

Exeperience category - 35 points

Post by mallikz » Thu Jun 22, 2006 10:24 am

Hi,

Congratulations to you for HSMP initial approval.

I have question about getting points in Exeperience category.

I got around 8 years experience in two companies, one is about 2.9 yrs exp and other is 6+ years of exp and is a Multi National well reputed Company. I got one expericne letter from my old employer but its not in the format which HSMP requires. Its in general format of typical Indian company experience letter.

fyi I got post graduation in computer science.

and My current employers is happy to give me a reference letter however I want, coz Im working in this company more than 5 years and with different roles.

My questions are

1. Is it worth using my previous employemnt and the Experience letter? or can I go ahead with current employment only?

2. what is the format and teriminalogy that my current employer should use to write a reference letter to qualify for 35 points in Experience Category as Senior or Speciliest level role?

If you could provide me a sample document it will be a very gr8 help.

Any kind of suggestions and advises are welcome.

Thanks and Regards

I have just been approved for an HSMP VISA! I would just like to thank everybody on this forum for the advice and support! Thank you!

So my final timeline is:
18 July - Application sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery (In country).
19 July - Application delivered.
21 July - Credit Card charged.
30 July - Letter with reference number (079xxx) arrived. Letter states that application was received 21 July (Date CC was charged).
