Name on Degree

Hi,
On my master degree my name is printed in format "surname first name fathername mothername"

While on my passport my name it is "surname firstname fathername"

will this cause issue while applying tier1 general first time.

do i need to present any certificate.

that should be fine... i have something similar issue when i was extending my student visa. What you can do is ask your academic tutor to write you a nice reference letter and mention that xxx is your official name (as in passport) but you are known as yyy or even zzz in the university and department...

Failing that, mention it in your own covering letter.


This should not be something to worry about as all the names you known by are there on the passport - just in different format
