need for the tenancy agreement- dependent visa

Post by mhkhan » Sat Feb 13, 2010 1:49 pm

Dear all,

Am in UK on Tier 1 and family still in Pakistan.
In order to apply for my wife and two kids Tier 1 dependent visa, do I need to show a tenancy agreement for them? If that is the case, can I show a "post-dated" agreement so that I dont have to get a family accomodation before their arrival.?

Many thanks.

1. Yes as u will hav to provide proof for your dependents and that u can accomodate them without any problems.
2. U hav a large family so u will def. need to provide that and a post dated agreement shud be fine as long as the date of the agreemnt is valid before u family enter UK.

hi mhkhan,

As far as the document requirement go, they do not require accomodation proof. But it might be a good idea to submit one. Take a look at my thread:

I hope this helps,
