What does COA have to do with leave to enter / remain? COA is not a visa, but just an approval for migrants to marry in the UK. If your friend wants to extend his stay in UK, he should make an application for extension of leave. Simple!

Does shussain452 sound familiar?

Your friend is getting married to a British or EU person so he could stay in the UK perhaps ??
