visa stopped for pakistanis?

Post by theimmigrant » Tue Feb 16, 2010 2:49 am

just wanted to know if they are still stamping visas for pakistanis?

I have been waiting for almost 6 months now to get back my stamped passport after winning the appeal.

I have heared that ppl are waiting for about 1.5 years are as well. So , just wanted to know if its true.

This link says that in December 2009, they have made 78% of Tier 1 decisions in 30 days, in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Having gone through your old posts - approval on admin. review .. some mix-up with student case .. request for medical etc. - it seems there is some goof-up at BHC end.

Best that you check with BHC Pakistan directly as to why even 6 months a visa has not been issused.

If I were you, I would be (really) worried about my passport by now. Have you complained to BHC? If not, I suggest you do without delay.

thanks Mehta, for taking time out.

Which address I should email to? Whenever I email to BHC abu dhabi, i get an automated "out of office" reply.

I remember, once i contacted BHC , islamabad. They said i should contact Abu Dhabi office as my case has been processed there. When i called Abu Dhabi, they didnt know abt any thing. I dont have any clue where to send email to.

A complaint might speed things up. Or you wait patiently as, IMHO, there is no other way.

Good news! The wait finally coming to an end. Give it a couple of days and check with Gerrys again around end of week.

All the best!
