Date of Entry in UK

I got my Tier1(General) Visa from USA on 29/Aug/2008 and Came to UK on 29/Sep/2008.
I travelled from USA to London via Dublin, Ireland . My entry was stamped in my passport at Dublin, Ireland not in London.
No immigration counter in London (Heathrow airport) as I took BIA (Assume domestic flight)from Dublin to London.

I went to Belgium officially on April 17th 2009 and got stamped my entry in London. Will my date of entry in UK starts from April 17th 2009 or 29th Sep 2008

29 Sep 2008.

Since you were checked at immigration passport control at the point of entry into the common travel area, there was no need for another check at London Heathrow.

To be on the safe side, I think you should better save the proof of that ticket/travel, for any future use. Your passport will also be carrying this information, in part though.
