applied on jan 25th no acknowlwdgement....help me

hi, i have applied for psw visa on jan 25th 2010 up to now i dint get my acknowledgement letter but my friend got them who have applied after me in the same week. is this happend with any one? do i need to worry about this?
paid fee using postal orders
post office website shows that my parcel has been delivered

i was very worried as well as i got my ack letter after two weeks of applying my PSW. i applied on 19 jan and got the letter on 5 feb'10.

i would say dont worry about anything and important thing is that HO have recieved ur application.

i am still waiting for the decision.

Let us know when u get ur letter. hopefuly it will be this week.

From the posts here you will gather that receiving acknowledgement letters have been erratic. I would think, the only useful information on those letters is the PBS reference number which you can quote/use in future applications.
