Received Acc Letter: 13th Jan
Visa issue date: 3rd Feb
Received Passport and documents: 6th Feb

Delivered : 9th Feb 2010

Note: The delivery could be early in the morning, in my case it arrived before 8 O'Clock in the morning and therefore missed. On enquiry, was informed by Royal Mail that the package was dispatched at half six in the morning from the nearest Post Office.

how did you know there was an attempt made early in the morning? did he leave the address of nearest post office on your door? how did you go about in getting your package?

Hi Friends,

First of all , I would like to thank all of you for all the guidance and support. All the help has finally paid off. I received my VIsa today.

My timeline is as follows:

Application sent: 14th January
Application received: 15th January
Ack letter received: 29th January dated 19th January
Visa received: 13th February dated 10th February

All the best for everyone who is waiting for the visa.

Just to let u know, if u don't receive acknow letter don't worry, it happens....

Application sent : 15 January 2010 at 1615GMT (Friday) by postal order.
Aplication supposed to arrive to HO : 18 January 2010 before 1pm
Acknowledge letter was received : 25 January 2010 at 1020GMT
Acknowledge letter was dated : 20 January 2010
Visa received : 16 February 2010 at 1200GMT
Visa stamped : 12 February 2010
Total process time : 30 day

It was such pain in a.. to await for this visa. I am so relax now. Guck luck to everyone and many thanks to forum admins, moderators and members.

hi i applied on 21st january and according to Home Office I should have got my visa sometime this week, i haven't received it yet. Can anyone confirm that they have received theirs?

If all protocol is observed, you suppose to receive it between 17th and 20th Feb, However, you will get it this week 22 - 27th I have friend who also applied on 27th and is expecting it this period too
