Hi all,
My partner is in the UK with a visit visa (6 months) and I have Tier 1. We decided to get married after he arrived for visit and have applied for COA end of November 09. January 09 we send affidavit and documents to proof our relationship. (We were very clear that we only decided to get married after he arrived in the UK for visit.)
He needs to leave the UK on the 19th of March in order to not overstay.
A few questions:
Is it worth sending a letter to Home Office for an urgent consideration? We need the documents by the beginning of March to give us 15 days to give notice to the registrar office before my fiance has to leave the UK.
When should we send a letter to Home Office to return his passport so he can leave on the 19th?
Is it possible to get the registar office to except less than 15 days notice?
Any help appreciated. Thanks!!
