Hi there,
My wife is planning to apply for Naturalisation and we just want to know exactly what documents we need to send to meet the criteria of "Evidence of lawful residence during qualifying period".
My wife arrived in UK in Nov 2006 in a spouse visa, then in September 2008 she extended her spouse visa for another 2 years because she didn't pass the test at the time. Then in November 2009 she was granted ILR after passing the Life in the UK test.
We are a bit confused as to what documents we need to send as Evidence of lawful residence during qualifying period.
My wife is was not working during the 3 years, most of the time she was looking after the children, she did few courses at college but she did not study throughout those 3 years.
So are they asking us to provide documents in her name for those 3 years just like we did we she applied for Indefinite Leave to Remain or is the Passport sufficient as evidence of lawful residence during qualifying period?
It would be great if someone can clarify this.
Many thanks,
