Post by mcaibuq2 » Mon Feb 22, 2010 7:07 pm

Hi,
Do i need to give attestated photocopies of the front page of the passport and the visa page or will a normal photocopy be enough?

Thanks

as far as i know, photocopies can not be used at all. you MUST provide originals of any documents you are submitting.

Having said that, i dont know much about dependent visa scenario so wait for replies from other people

I am in UK and my wife is in Pakistan. On the form VAF10 it simply states
"A copy of the pages from the main applicant’s passport
showing their permission to stay, if they are already in the
UK."

My wife also applied from Pakistan as PSW dependent. She has only submitted attested copies of first page and PSW visa page of my passport as I was main applicant.

I also applied for my dependent in Karachi, Pakistan. We only require to submit our passport's front 2 pages and a valid visa's photo copies. And nothing else.
