Feed deducted no ack letter

Hi Chaps,
Is anyone in same boat as i am?
Application filed - 30 Jan (Royal mail special delivery)
Application received @HO - 1st Feb
Fee deducted on - 10 Feb

No ack letter yet. Its been two weeks since fee was deducted is this normal or should i contact HO?

Please help

There are many instances faced by many applicants where their fees got deducted and no reference letter sent but the decision on their applications came through in time.. so dont worry.. you now need to keep fingers crossed and wait for your +ve news..

As rightly said by tvn, there are a few people who never received the acknowledgement letter. But that doesnt necessarily mean that there is something wrong with the application. For example, a member 'svuk' has got his Tier 1 (G) switching from WP (I think). You can check his time lines in the 'current processing times' sticky (2nd post on page 124). All the best.
