I was bit worried after giving credit card details, seeing so many mails regarding credit card transaction issues.

My application (HSMP to Tier1 - Main + 2 dep) was sent on 21-01-2010 through Royal Mail special delivery
Application received on Jan 22nd.
Fee not yet deducted.

Hi All,

Update from my side.
My credit card payment was taken yesterday.
I can see my credit limit reduced by £920 (820+2x50) :-)
It is still under pending transactions, but I haven't used my card for any other purpose, so this should be my visa fee.
Waiting for the acknowledgement from HO now.

Cheers,
akb.

I am very much concerned now. As i have sent an application last week and the fee have been taken from my account. By mistake i have sent a photograph which was used in one of my previous LTR application in Jun09. Will thy reject it or ask for a new photograph. My latest leave to remain which was stamped in Jan10 shows a different photograph.

Any replies appreciated.

Thanks

Application received: 07-Jan 2010 (Due to heavy snow)
Fee deducted : 13-Jan 2010 (Paid by cheque)
Acknowledgement Letter received: 14-Jan 2010
Mail Receieved from HO related to Old photograph: 02-Feb 2010 *
New Photogrph sent on: 03-Feb 2010
New Photogrph received by HO: 05-Feb 2010
Ack. Mail received from HO: 06-Feb 2010
Visa Approved on : 09-Feb 2010
Visa received by post: 11-Feb-2010

*I had issue with the old phographs and HO informed me thru e-mail on 02-Feb 2010 stating "I am contacting you with regards to your Tier 1 application which is currently under consideration. The passport photographs supplied are too old as they are the same as those supplied with your previous leave to remain application on November 2009. The photograph guidance stipulates that the passport photographs you supply should be no more than one month old."

Good luck guys who is waiting for their stamping. It may take some time but don't worry it should be fine.

Cheers,

Query about Previous Earnings from Indian salary

Post by sm007 » Sun Feb 21, 2010 12:08 pm

Hello,

I find it very helpful in reading thru all the answers. I have a question regarding previous earnings.

I am currently on an assignment in UK and is getting paid allowances and expenses reimbursed. I am getting my Indian salary as usual. Can i show my indian salary as my previous earnings (i qualify for enough points if i show my indian salary). I have my paslips attested by my employer and last 12 months bank statements which shows salary credits.

Do anyone recently applied using indian salary while on assignment in UK. Any replies welcome.

SM

The plocy guidance for caseworkers says,

Those seconded overseas from their normal country of work.
Applicants who have been seconded overseas during the last fifteen months and whose salary continues to be paid in the normal manner by their employer should be assessed against the country where they have been working during their secondment. In order for us to establish which country code to consider their earnings against, the applicant should provide evidence of where they have been working and where their salary has been paid for the period they wish us to consider, up to a maximum of twelve months.
If an applicant is working in a country but having their income paid into a bank account in another country, their income will be considered against the country code where they are working.

I sent the photos on 16th Feb 2010 by special delivery and the photos have ben recd by HO(as per RM's website tracking system) but I still haven't got any kind of confirmation for the photos or visa approval from the HO.

Should I wait for some more time or should I contact HO ?

This wait is really frustrating. Please help.

Hi there ,

First of all congratulations!
Didn't u send the photos as per the guidance policy or U have written to them prior to their email about ur mistake.

Sorry for asking as HO rarely calls/emails reagrding extra doc.
I have read few threads about the photos and they have rejected the application in the past.
