Got visa in 17days - saved 30K

Thanks a ton to this forum, and people involved making it so reliable.
I applied for the visa myself and saved around 30K which was the consultant fee.

Applied : 15th Feb
Status Changed on 20th Feb : visa application is under process at the british high commission
Couriered : 2nd Mar
VISA received: 3rd Mar

4 steps to success.
1. go thro the PBC
2. Read the application guidelines
3. fill the application and annexure
4. follow the templates provided by senior members

I applied in New Delhi same date but no result till now...

I also applied on the same date (15 Feb '10), but status is still showing 'visa is under process at the british high commission'. Hope to get some response soon.

Where you applied your Tier1? I applied at VFS New Delhi on 15th Feb 2010 and still waiting for any result.

Yups, I too applied at VFS New Delhi on that day... I saw on vfs site regarding past processing times. They say 95% of decisions are made in 15 days of application. So, I hope to hear news (hopefully good news ) in coming few days!

I applied for T1 General visa on 19th Feb. The status changes to in process on 24th Feb. But still the status is same and I haven't heard from them.

From which city you have applied. I applied from VFS New Delhi and got my visa in 17 days...
