Just checked the bank account online - the Cleared Balance
reduced by 1020 pounds. I cannot see the transaction yet,
but the amount is correct: 820+4x50=1020.
I have given my Barclays Visa Delta card details
for the payment.

Hi,

I think the HO is getting better with the payments. I saw that it took almost 10 days for payment recently. But, for me it took 4 days. Timelines are as below,

Application sent: 08.02.2010 (by royal mail next day special delivery)
Application Received : 09.02.2010 (confirmed by royal mail online tracking)
Payment Deducted : 13.02.2010 (paid by Credit Card)

The transaction has not been posted yet but, \i can see the available balance dip by the exact amount.

Good News today morning.
Received Tier1 visa today for me and my 2 dependents.
Visa approved on 17th feb.
HO sent back the docs in the Special delivery envelope which I had provided along with the application.

Timelines:-
Application sent on 21-01-2010 - Royal Mail special delivery
Application received on Jan 22nd.
Fee deducted on 27th Jan.
Ack letter received on 30th Jan.
Visa Approved - 17th feb 2010
Passports received - 20th feb 2010 - Royal Mail special delivery

Hi All,

Update from my side.
My credit card payment was taken yesterday.
I can see my credit limit reduced by £920 (820+2x50) :-)
It is still under pending transactions, but I haven't used my card for any other purpose, so this should be my visa fee.
Waiting for the acknowledgement from HO now.

I have got my confirmation letter on 18 of feb.
I have not got any reply from home office if anyone apply before 2nd feb and got the reply pls share here.

Just now UKBA website has been updated with below timescale -:)

During the week commencing 8 March 2010 we expect to be considering applications that were received on or before 10 February 2010. This timescale is a guideline only, and some cases may take longer to consider.

Guys Just tracked my application on the royalmail website and it says "We have received your item and expect to deliver it before the guaranteed time on 12/03/10".Will update tomorrow with the result.
