How come you received the receipt of acknowledgement on the same day if payment was deducted on 11/02/2010? As it takes couple of days to receive the receipt of acknowledgement.

Was your referee convicted or charged of anything? If not than it should be fine - thats one of the conditions on the application.

If he is on bail, then he must have been charged with something significant. Might be a problem - They may ask you to provide another referee. I suggest you pre-empt that and find another potential referee in case they ask for it.

No bail does not mean the person is charged..It means still under investigation

Hi Jerryanderson,
I think being on bail normally means he has been charged and therefore arrested for an offence, but not yet convicted. Although I believe in certain cases people can be arrested without charge and bail.
Either way, its best for you to have a back-up plan and another referee lined up.

Was this the Britsh Passport Holder referee or the professionally qualified referee. You also need to keep that in mind.

Hi Eskar, Timm 555 , London 102 & Czishan
NCS or Postal : NCS
If NCS, which centre : Maidstone Kent
Date of submission or posting : 10/02/2010
CRITERIA - 5 yr stay (4 + 1 yr ILR) Judicial review HSMP
Date of debit of debit/credit card : 16/02/2010
Date of receipt of acknowledgement 23/02/2010. Dated 16/02/2010
Date of receipt of approval pending
Date of Ceremony pending
Date of appln. for passport pending
Method used pending
Date of Receipt pending
I phoned them this morning. I had phoned last friday as well. Last Friday the answer was that my application was still under the initial checks.
Today they said that the application is under consideration now. when i asked that does under consideration mean that it is with case worker? then he said yes. But at the same time then said 3-6months average time.
Atleast its good that application has moved from initial checks to underconsideration stage now
