Please Help!! WHM to SEGS visa conversion.

Dear all,

I am an Indian National on a Working Holiday Maker (WHM) visa in UK. I have been on this visa from June 2004, and before that I completed my Masters degree in Mobile computing on a student Visa.

As I discovered that WHM allows a person to study part-time, so I embarked on a part-time M.Res (Masters by research degree), and I will complete this next year. This is usually a 1 year full-time programme, but I did this on a part-time mode in accordance to WHM constraints.

Could anyone please let me know how I could extend my stay in the UK by obtaining SEGS visa, since my course qualifies under this scheme? Is this conversion possible?

I would greatly appreciate if you could direct me regarding this.

Quite interesting case. Since your course comes under SEGS list you can go to India to Apply under SEGS and come back to U.K.
I am not too sure whethe you can apply for SEGS from here since you are on WHM. One of my friends is also undergoing the same situation.
