Jdawood, i see you got an extension. What I'd like to know is:
- do they extend the visa from the date it expired or from now. i.e my visa expired on Jan 10, i got my appeal decision on 4 Apr and am waiting to send the passport to HO. Will I get an extension from Jan 11 or from when they actually issue the visa?

- in case they do it from now and not Jan, what happens to my status for those months in between?

i was successfull in the Appeal and AIT hearing was on 20th January 2009 and
Determination letter Received on 29st January 2009

BUT

since then no one contacted me even for passports.

any help what shall i do.

Had a court on 15-Jan-01 which was successful

Still have not heard from appeal section. My solicitor says we have to wait for
Passport request letter HOW LONG it's been 2Months

Hey guys,

I've just received my approval letter from the AIT. So yeah, i'm in the same boat with you guys, i can't wait to have a call or letter from HO requesting my passport!
Any one knows whether HO will give two years extension from the original date of your application (the one they initially refused) or from the later date they received the judge's decision or they requested my passport??

Sorry for my late reply mate. I sent my appeal application on the 5th of Jan (deadline was 6th Jan) and received the determination letter of appeal allowance on the 23rd of March. On the letter, the hearing was dated 17th of March.

Now 28days have been well passed and I'm still waiting for the HO to request my pp.
Any idea where I should contact regarding this matter?
