Fee not yet deducted!!!

Guys Just tracked my application on the royalmail website and it says "We have received your item and expect to deliver it before the guaranteed time on 12/03/10".Will update tomorrow with the result.

Did you mean the expiry, then it expired on 06/03/2010

HI Guys,

I have applied for Tier 1 General on 10 March 2010. I got a call in the morning from the Bank saying that they have been approached for transaction from Home Office and as they were not sure about the payment the bank has temporarily stopped payment. They suggested me to call HO and ask them to try again and this time they will not stop payment.

I rang HO and explained them about this, but the lady just replied saying that, the HO ' may ' try again or will contact you in case if they fail to deduct money. She just replied they cannot do much about this and asked me to wait for the call or acknowledgement letter.

I am bit worried now ...has any one of you experienced similar issue?..Will HO try again to deduct the money??..Please kindly share your views on this..

Application Sent: 1st Feb
Payment Deducted: 9th Feb
Visa Stamped: 4th March
PAssport Received: 9th March

Glad mine was a very straightforward case. But if your case is easy and you are confident that you have provided all the requirements then do not worry you shall get it any which ways...Everything is Black and White in this country folks!!

Seema, did you include SD envelope with your application? I applied the same time as yours, haven't heard anything. Getting worried as I'm flying abroad for easter

Hi guys,

I am bit surprised with the efficiency of HO. I sent application yesterday I mean 15th march through post office and I arrive this morning on 16th march. I just check my banck account online just a moment ago I mean around 12 noon and say that fee money was deducted.

I saw different ppl’s post and found that money normally deducted after a week of application received by HO but in my case money is deducted after a moment application arrive at PO Box of HO

Any one has such kind of experience?

Congrats Nagu, just a quick one, did you enclose SD envelope or was it a recorded delivery?

I applied on the same date as you but didn't send an SD envelope with my application and despite being a straightford WP1 to Tier 1 application I still have not received mine back yet.

09 March 2010 to 22 March 2010.: Sleep less nights, days with worries, stress and tense

Lesson learnt: Post the application as early as you can, double check and triple check the whole application to make sure the application is made as per the UKBA requirements.
