Post by SSUK » Mon Mar 22, 2010 9:58 pm

I have been paid Monthly.Applying for Tier-1 Application on 30th March 2010. Would be claiming points for Jan 2009 to Dec 2009.
Jan 09 salary paid in bank on 9th Feb 09
.....
Dec 09 Salary paid in Bank 0n 9th Jan 10...

When Filling up forms & Claiming earning do i have use period as
01/Jan/2009 to 31/Dec/2009
or the period on which money in bank, which is

9/Feb/2009 till 9 /Jan/2010

Please can you clarify this for me ? I really appreciate u r preciosu time...

I asked the same question here:

Reply is: "I would suggest you use the dates which you actually worked to get that salary. Regarding the pay date, you could explain about it in your cover letter or salary explanation statement."

Many Thanks for your response, is it possible to use either of the period ? Is it an option or preference ??? As the only difference is exchange rate ? Do we need seperate letter /payslip etc to claim, if we are submitting app based on salary in bank date....

I know somebody who had just recently submitted application based on BANK DATE rather than Period ...Bit lost...
