Bonus part of my earnings.

Post by Nasir Ali » Wed Mar 17, 2010 12:28 am

Hi I am applying for my HSMP extension. My visa is expiring on 29 April 2010.

My Question is that can i count the bonus i recieved from my company as part of my earnings. As it is shown on my payslip and i have paid tax on it.

Many Thanks in advance

Thank You muditmalhotra.

I have another question regarding Previous earnings.
I am extending my HSMP visa next month..
Previous earning i am showing is from one source. I joined the company on 25K and at the moment i am getting 28K.
4 of my 12 payslips are 25 K and the rest are 28 K.
To show my previous earning do i have to just add each month Gross Salary or do i have to divide sum each month salary by 12.
When i add each month salary its 31K something adding the bonus i received.
but when i divide the sum of each month salary it becomes 26K.
I am really confused which one i have to show. Please help.
Many thanks in advance.

You have to add the gross salary for each month in the period you are claiming.

I have another question concerning bonuses: I have a payslip for bonus titled "award for 2008", but I received this payment in *May 2009*... and I will be claiming previous earnings for whole 2009-period (Jan-Dec)... So can I include this bonus-payslip received/paid in 2009 even though it says 2008???

Anyone with similar problem?

Thanks!

Thanks aruni4470 for such quick reply.

My mind is clear and Happy now  . By just getting the total of past 12 months salaries will increase my points.

Cheers
