Tier 1 (General)...Pls help

Deal All,

I am working here in USA on H1B and would like to move to UK. I have few questions about Tier 1 visa which I am going to apply.

1) If I got the tier 1 visa today , Can I move to UK after 1-2 years ,As this is valid for 3 years?
2) My wife is in India , Can I get my visa first and after 2-3 month she will apply as dependent?

Please assist me.
