Query on qualifying date

Hi All,

I have few queries on the qualifying date,

1). My ILR issue date on the passport is 7th May 2009,
2). I left the UK on holiday exactly on 7th May 2005 and returned on 22nd May 2005, My flight departure time was around 6 am on 7th may 2005 from manchester.

My questions are,

Can I apply on 6th may 2010? so that the application will reach HO on 7th may 2010. or
Do I need to wait and apply after 22nd may 2010?

Can you please advise me?

Hi Senthil,
if the home office receive your appication on 7/5/2010 then you should have been in the country on 8/5/2005 for the application to be valid.

The earliest you can post ur application is 20th so that home office will receive it on 21/05/2010 and you will be able to prove that you were in UK on 22/05/2005.
