Visa application Status

Hi Friends,

I applied for Tier 1 visa switching from Work permit on 22 March 2010. Will we get any acknowlegement letter to our correspondence letter ? And how can we check our status of our application ? Please clarfiy.

Usually, they send an acknowledgement letter. But, there are cases where there was no acknowledgement received but the application was processed. So, as long as the fee has been taken, you don't have to worry. We can only call the HO to get status after 14 weeks from the date of application.

Usually, they send an acknowledgement letter. But, there are cases where there was no acknowledgement received but the application was processed. So, as long as the fee has been taken, you don't have to worry. We can only call the HO to get status after 14 weeks fro the date of application.

Thanks for the quick response.Fees got deducted the next day ,but didnt receive any ack , so as you suggeted will wait for the respose.
