Don't worry tier1_aspirant_del you will get your visa this week if your application is straight forward.

I have been going through this forum and website about 2 weeks back, thank you for all who have been sharing the information. It was good. I also want to share my Tier 1 VISA details. I applied for myself and for my family, wife and kid.

Passport dispatched SMS: 18 Mar 2010
Passport received with VISA: 19 Mar 2010

Just to share my timeline with you ppl...

Visa type - Tier 1 Dependent
Application Submitted in Chennai VFS - 8th March
Forwarded to BHC - 8th March
Under process status changed - 13th March (Saturday!?)
Approved - Waiting...

What I gathered from this forum thread that I suppose its taking 10 to 15 working days then 5 working days what it used to be earlier.

I am also applied from VFS HYDERABAD on 8th March ..Can u plz guess when can I expect my VISA .. and from which date your visa is valid and when are you planning to fly ..??

Not yet buddy!! Called BHC today and they told that it is under process and they did not disclose any other thing which was as per my expectations..

Not sure when will they decide? Lets hope for the best

hi i had applied for my visa on 16th of march at chennai and still in submitted to uk consulate state, it is now 6 working days and not sure what is going on... i'm bit afraid on viewing the link about new tier 1 option and point from 6th April.. will this affect my application which i had already submitted or am i out of danger.... also u know about the wait time at resent in chennai???

Dont worry .. your status will be changed to "under process at british high commission" very soon

Dont be afraid you are not fall under 6th April.. you are out of danger becoz you have already applied it wil change to under process very soon.

well thanks suresh, i have another query, in future if i go for an extension let me say leave to remain then will i be following the existing points table or the new one... if new table then i need to be in 40 to 45 k per annum to get the score of 75 which is is bit doggy!! please clarify

Madhu why are you much bothered about extension .. first concentrate on TIER 1 after getting it and 2 years stay(After 6th april it will be 2 years) , we can decide which is better option and may be new Table also change.

I dont have much Idea on Extension let some seniors respond on your query

You received passport on 24th but when did the status on internet changed?? Is it on 23rd or 24th ??

The reason I am asking because we applied for dependent visa from HYD on 9th March but still no news or update in web ??

I received sms stating that my Processed application was delivered to Blue Dart on 23rd March at 4 PM .
I received courier on 24th March at 10 AM/.

My husband applied for Tier 2 visa and I applied for the Tier 2 Dependent Visa.

Our timelines are:
Visa application submitted on 15-March-2010
Visa application despatched to BHC on 15-March-2010
Visa application under process at BHC on 20-March-2010
Visa application courierd on 31-March-2010
got the stamped visa on 1-April-2010

I have submitted my business visa application (for uk) to VFS Chennai on 22-Mar-10, till now there is no changes in my visa status. Status message saying that "Application forward to BHC". anybody have any idea why its getting delayed.
