Do the UKBA know that you are married? Was your marriage in the UK?
Is there any way of the UKBA finding out that you were married?

However, we stayed together for about a month and she then left the country..

Therefore, I am assuming that UKBA will have a record of my being married..?
My passport has the ex-to-be's name in any case.. So thats a dead give-away :(
They most certainly will! Sorting out the divorce issue is the best way forward, I believe.
