Got Tier 1 visa in 4 days

Post by maanginni » Fri Mar 26, 2010 11:50 pm

Hi,

I got my visa stamped in less than a week's time. :) Thanks to immigrationboards.com and all the gurus.
Many thanks. :)

Applied in US : Los Angeles British Consulate
12 Mar'2010 : Biometric scan
15 Mar'2010 : Sent passport and supporting documents via Fedex
16 Mar'2010 : Got Status update that application received and in process
17 Mar'2010 : Got update : application approved and visa issued
18 Mar'2010 : Received passport with Tier 1 visa stamped for 3 years starting from 07-April-2010.

Thanks to all on this site.

Have a last doubt. I'm planning to travel on 24 April'2010. Is there any problem if i delay in my first entry to UK ?

You can travel within first 28 days of your visa start date to avoid future visa renewals for ILR
