Moving to UK on July 2010

Post by js03022006 » Sat Mar 27, 2010 7:03 pm

Hi,

I have Tier1 visa which is valid from July 2009. I may get the job offer from UK in few weeks and I need to leave from here some time in July 2010.

I am not very sure whether immigration officer will question me about the late as it is 1 year gap from the date the visa processed. Please let me know your view.

In case, if they question me what should I need to tell? Is it fine if I show the UK offer letter to them?

Thanks
js

It should not be a problem ... you can come any time while your visa is valid ...

But i hope you know you will DEFINATELY need 2nd extention and with probationary citizen coming in an year ... you will be eligible for PR after 6-7 years and citizenship in 8-9 years ....... so if you are well off ... think about it

Thanks for your reply.

One of my friend told there is a chance of asking question from immigration department about the late. Please respond if anyone already faced this issue.

The reason for the late is:

Present company assignments and also UK IT market was not well at that time, do you want me to tell the same?
