Payment stopped by the Bank in the UK- A General discussion.

Hiya!!,

Off-late am seeing lots of posts saying about " Payment stopped by Bank" when the applications made in the UK.
Firstly, I would surely like to know, Why do UK Banks stop payments even though the request is coming from a genuine source like the "HO", is there any specific reasons?
Second and the most important point, what the applicant needs to do to avoid this kinda experience( uh!! bad), where in the visa gets delayed due the payment stopped by the Bank!!.

Pls share your views and experiences on this which would surely be very useful for any future applicants.

since its a large amount several banks think it is a fraud...and they put it on hold. its best to call them up and tell them to expect an amount soon and do not block it...they will make a note and will not stop it.

Yeah!! informing the Bank prior is indeed a wise idea and looking at the number of such cases increasing, the applicants should pro-actively advice Bank to allow the amount before applying for any visa ( in-country visa).
