Regd Uplift Factor...calculation

Hi,

I will be applying for HSMP in May 2010.I am deputed to UK from 1st feb 2010.So I have plan to show Bank Balance of £800 for month of Feb,March and April.And i will show my earning in india from Feb 2009 to Jan 2010 in india Rupees.

So my calculation will be..

My earining =Indian Salary * Uplift Factor * Pond rate of 31st Jan.

Is this correct?

Wanna correct, You will have to show 2800 GBP( you are in the UK since 2 mnths). 800GBP is for someone who is living in the UK more than a year.
For you 2 nd query, as per my knowledge you cant use uplift factor for the period you are in the UK , However, I guess you can use the uplifet factor for other months you lived in India.PS: wait for some one from the forum to cofirm this. :?
Calculation will be: Earning =Indian Salary * Uplift Factor / Pound rate of 31st Jan
(take your Indian Gross salary)

To get 10 ponts for maintenence, you need to show total of 2800 GBP for a period of 3 months.

i have checked in Point based calculator....if i apply from inside of UK i have to show £800....if i apply from outside of UK then i have to show £2800 bank balnace...please correct if requried.

As Vks suggested in your other post, pls READ the Tier1 guidlines completely & thoroughly. :idea:.. may be GBP800 is correct. :)
