Citizenship Referees - Urgent Help

Post by senthil78 » Mon Mar 29, 2010 6:26 pm

Hi All,

I need help on choosing Referee (Professional Standing). I know my manager for more than 3 years, he is a project manager and managing a team of around 25 employees in a project in UK. He is working for Tata Consultancy Services which is very big company in India and he has been in UK for more than 6 years on work permit (Indian Citizen). Although he has been in UK for more than 6 years, but he is employed in India. He is in UK on deputation. Can he be a referee?

Can you please advise me?

Thanks
Senthil

One referee should be a brisish citizen and 2nd can be a non-british citizen.
Each and every one of us can make a difference. All right everyone, line up alphabetically according to your height.

Thanks for your reply, Yes I know one need to be british citizen and another can be any citizen. I have one referee who is british citizen, I am trying to find the second who should be professional standing. As I explained above, can I use the above mentioned manager as my referee?

Thanks for your help

I believe you can use your manager as a referee.
But to be on the safer side, why dont you speak to your GP?

Thanks for your reply, I trying my managers from my previous job and both are british citizen. I never lived in one address more than one year, so I don't know any GP more than 3 years.
